About The Artist: Mark F Lodge

I was born in the Holme Valley, Yorkshire. From a young age I was inspired to paint by the magnificent moorland countryside around me. When I was 11 one of my early watercolour paintings was exhibited in a national exhibition and at age 12, I started working with oils, now my favourite medium.
